Procedures
Courts 1 and 2 are open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Courts 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7 are open from 8:00 a.m.to 10:00 p.m. Association residents and their guests may play on any court that is not reserved. Club tournaments and special events have priority over individual play.
Tennis/Pickleball Lessons
Lessons are to be given only by Bel Air Ridge tennis pros. Outside tennis instructors are not permitted. The Bel Air Ridge tennis pros have priority use of courts 1 and 2 in order to provide lessons.
Reservations
Association residents are encouraged to use the Skedda online reservation system at www.skedda.com . In the rare case that a member does not want to use the online system, the tennis office will continue to book reservations by phone.
Courts are reserved on the hour. Singles reservations between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on weekends and holidays are limited to one (1) hour; reservations for singles or doubles at all other times are limited to two (2) hours.
Reservations may be made up to three (3) days in advance of the court use date.
There is a ten (10) minute grace period for holding a reservation. No exceptions.
Residents are allowed to make only one online reservation a day. A resident may contact the tennis office to make a second reservation for the same day. In addition, a resident can also play on any court available and not otherwise reserved, after the ten-minute grace period, without a reservation.
Guests
Guests are permitted to use the courts provided the guest is accompanied by the resident. Owners and residents are responsible for the conduct of their guests and for ensuring their guests comply with all Bel Air Ridge rules. Residents may be accompanied by up to three (3) guests per court.
Courtesy & Clothing
All players and those present on the courts shall be considerate and courteous to other players and those on adjacent courts. All containers must be shatterproof and glass containers of any kind are prohibited within the tennis facility. Eating on courts is prohibited except for power bars, trail mix & nuts, bananas and those items purchased from the tennis. office. Dispose of all litter in trash receptacles.
Only shoes with non-marking soles are permitted on the courts.
Shirts must be worn on all courts.
Pets, bicycles, skateboards and scooters are not permitted on the courts.
Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere within the tennis facilities, courts and surrounding areas and adjacent parking lots.
Courts shall be occupied only by persons using the courts for playing tennis or pickleball or those present to supervise students learning to play tennis or pickleball. Persons under the age of five (5) taking tennis lessons shall be accompanied by a resident adult.
Gates to courts shall not be propped open.
